Singapore's Visa-Free Transit for Indian Passport Holders (udaipur)

As a global centre for business, education and tourism, Singapore launches Visa-Free Transit for Indian Passport Holders. Yes, Singapore has announced a major policy change that has come as music to the ears of Indian visitors, especially Indian students. As of January 2025, Singapore’s Visa-Free Transit Facility for Indian nationals permits visa-free transits of up to 96 hours (or 4 days) through Singapore’s Changi Airport. This is a significant move and will be a game changer for students flying abroad for studies, for professionals and for Indian families travelling together for business or leisure.
What is Singapore's Visa-Free Transit Policy?
Earlier, Indian travelers stopping over in Singapore had to apply for a transit visa in advance - for which they paid a fee (of approximately SGD 30), collected documents and waited in line.
